I've enjoyed several of Reynolds' short stories. They are truly bizarre and off-the-wall. I only gave this one 4 stars because of the gross factor in the dinner scene. But that was the whole point of the story. I certainly don't regret reading it.Product details

This is a story that is short in length, not a short story. This is an amusing tale in that I have dated guys like this and enjoyed the thought of being in her shoes. Having read other stories by this author, this is just what I expected.
It's a mark of talent to be able to write a story about two unlikeable characters and still make it enjoyable. It certainly helps when one of the characters gets a fitting and gross comeuppance, of which I approve wholeheartedly. A well-written and amusing tale!
What a neat story! I appreciate the author's sense of humour and can totally relate to his protagonist. A fun read.
Short story writing is a much harder discipline than many realise and I think the writer does so well here to master this tricky task. There is just the right amount of intrigue and a nice dash of dark humour. The main charcters are totally relatable and the story could so easily be true on so many levels. Great short story - looking forward to more.
Good premise, funny through and through. Only thing I didn’t like was the cursing. Otherwise, it’s pretty good.
